No electricity at this weekend's Zion I show
The power went out suddenly at this weekend's Zion I show in Flagstaff, Arizona, leaving the crowd and the performers completely in the dark. They were able to keep the show going by having the entire crowd create a beat by clapping while they switched their plans and freestyled on stage. A quick-acting soundcrew was able to set up a generator rig, just enough to power the mics and the music, and a single spot light. And the show continued despite technical difficulties. Watch the videos below to see how live a show can get even without power:
"We were in the middle of our set at the Green Room in Flagstaff, when the entire building went pitch black?! We stood there bewildered 'till we found out someone had cut the power to the spot on purpose? Luckily, the courageous sound men were swift enough to rig up a system for us to perform a makeshift show. Moral of the story: roll with the punches and keep giving thanks! Jah Guide every-time."
